Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal for a Sr Design Engineer (Bridge Bearings). The role involves leading the design and development of bridge bearings, expansion joints, and related structural components, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications.

The Sr Design

Engineer will prepare and review detailed engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD tools, perform mechanical and structural calculations, and coordinate with production and quality teams to validate design feasibility. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with project managers and cross-functional teams,



providing technical guidance, optimizing designs for manufacturability and performance, and supporting installation and commissioning as needed. The role also includes documentation of design reports, adherence to ISO quality procedures, and continuous improvement of design methodologies and product performance.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with experience in bridge bearings, expansion joints, or related structural components.
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles, including stress analysis, material selection, and structural design for heavy fabrication and infrastructure products.
- Hands-on expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for creating detailed drawings, models, and documentation.
- Understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts relevant to infrastructure projects and integrated systems, beneficial for multidisciplinary coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience working with national standards and approvals (e.g., NHAI, CPWD, PWD, Metro Rail, Railways) and familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, prepare calculation reports, and communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Proven experience in an industrial or infrastructure manufacturing environment, with robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
