Role: Specialist – Record to Report (R2R) Accounting

Role Overview
As a Specialist in R2R Accounting, you will oversee the general ledger close cycle, ensure compliance with Ind AS accounting principles, and act as the primary operational partner for Big 4 statutory auditors. This role guarantees financial accuracy, ledger integrity, and prompt statutory reporting for Colgate India.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger close processes in SAP, including prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany settlements.
Prepare, review, and validate balance sheet account reconciliations, resolving open reconciling items within established SLA timelines.
Draft trial balances and financial statement schedules aligned with Ind AS and Schedule III requirements.
Serve as the frontline coordinator for Big 4 statutory and tax auditors, tracking PBC (Provided By Client) requests, coordinating walkthroughs, and clarifying audit queries.
Ensure strict adherence to Internal Financial Controls (IFC) and corporate accounting policies.
Required Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in Record to Report / General Accounting.
Solid technical command of Ind AS standards and Indian statutory frameworks.
Direct experience handling Big 4 statutory audit engagements.
