Role Description This is a full-time, in office Sourcing Manager role based in Mumbai.

The Sourcing

Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers and vendors for construction materials, finishes, and services required across Sonam Group’s residential projects. Daily activities include negotiating prices and contracts, monitoring vendor performance, coordinating with project, engineering, and finance teams, and ensuring materials meet quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements.



The role involves maintaining updated market knowledge on new materials and suppliers, optimizing costs without compromising quality, and managing purchase orders and documentation.

The Sourcing

Manager will also help build long-term supplier relationships, address supply issues proactively, and support continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and sourcing skills, including vendor identification, evaluation, and relationship management.
- Experience in contract negotiation, cost optimization, and basic knowledge of commercial terms.
- Understanding of construction materials, building finishes, and supply chain processes in real estate or infrastructure.
- Proficiency in using MS Excel or similar tools for data analysis, reporting, and tracking purchase orders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with internal project teams and external partners.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple priorities, and meet project timelines.
- Prior experience in real estate or construction sourcing is preferred but not mandatory.
