Job Purpose To ensure the quality, reliability and usability of web and mobile applications through comprehensive software testing, defect management, backend validation and continuous improvement of QA processes. The role will contribute to release readiness, quality reporting and effective collaboration with development, business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, compatibility and performance testing.
- Test REST APIs/Web Services using appropriate API testing tools and validate expected responses and integrations.
- Identify, document, prioritize and track defects using bug/issue tracking systems and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
- Perform database validation and backend testing; working knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL will be preferred.
- Create and maintain test data, test environments, test documentation and traceability of requirements to test cases.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Prepare and communicate test execution status, defect metrics, quality metrics and release-readiness reports to project teams and management.
- Apply Agile/Scrum principles and follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) practices.
- Perform automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium or equivalent tools/frameworks where applicable.
- Contribute to API automation, performance/load testing and CI/CD-based automated testing initiatives.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to improving QA processes,



standards and reusable test assets.

Qualification & Experience

- Education: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Engineering / Information Technology / EC or MCA.
- Experience: Minimum 03 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.

• Age: Minimum 23 years and maximum 35 years.

- Certifications (if any): Relevant QA/Software Testing certifications will be an added advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills:

- Test planning, test scenarios, test cases and test script development.
- Functional, regression, integration, system, usability, compatibility and performance testing.

- Defect identification, documentation, prioritization and tracking using bug/issue tracking systems.
- Database validation and backend testing; SQL/PostgreSQL knowledge preferred.
