Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Oracle SOA Administrator / OBIEE DBA to manage, administer, configure, and maintain Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) environments. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in middleware administration, database management, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.

Key ResponsibilitiesOracle SOA Administration

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle SOA Suite environments.
- Manage Oracle SOA Suite components, including BPEL, Mediator, Business Rules, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).
- Administer Oracle WebLogic Server domains, managed servers, clusters, and deployments.
- Monitor SOA composites, services, and business processes to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot SOA infrastructure issues, failed transactions, and integration errors.
- Manage deployments, patches, upgrades, backups, and recovery activities.
- Configure data sources, JMS queues, connection pools, and security settings.
- Monitor system performance, logs, and server health.

Oracle OBIEE Administration / DBA
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain OBIEE environments.
- Manage OBIEE services, repositories (RPD), catalogues, and presentation services.
- Configure and manage WebLogic Server components supporting OBIEE.
- Perform repository migrations, deployments, and environment refreshes.
- Monitor OBIEE performance and troubleshoot dashboard, report, and connectivity issues.
- Manage user authentication, authorization, roles, and security configurations.




- Support integration between OBIEE and Oracle databases.
- Perform database administration activities, including monitoring, performance tuning, backup, and recovery, where applicable.
- Troubleshoot SQL queries, database connectivity, and reporting performance issues.

General Responsibilities
- Provide production support and resolve critical incidents within defined SLAs.
- Coordinate with application development, infrastructure, and database teams.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment records.
- Support disaster recovery exercises, high availability, and business continuity activities.

Required Technical Skills
- Oracle SOA Suite administration.
- Oracle WebLogic Server administration.
- Oracle OBIEE administration and configuration.
- Oracle Database fundamentals and administration.
- SQL and PL/SQL troubleshooting.
- Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.
- Middleware monitoring, log analysis, and performance tuning.
- Application deployment, patching, upgrades, and production support.
- Knowledge of clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in Oracle middleware and business intelligence administration.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of overall experience in Oracle technologies.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle SOA Suite and WebLogic administration.
- Experience administering OBIEE environments.
- Exposure to Oracle Database administration and production support.
