WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Site Supervisor for Interiors at Olsen, you will be the boots-on-ground execution lead for our office fit-out projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager and the design team to ensure that every element of the interior from false ceilings and partitions to flooring, joinery, and finishes is executed to spec, on time, and to the quality standard that Olsen is known for. This is not a desk role.

You will be on site every day, driving progress, managing labour, and catching issues before they become problems.

Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day execution of interior fit-out work across active Olsen sites including civil, carpentry, glass and aluminium, false ceiling, flooring, painting, and all MEP works
- Manage MEP contractors and vendors directly ensuring electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work is sequenced correctly, progressing on schedule, and executed to spec
- Read and interpret architectural drawings,



interior design layouts, and BOQs to ensure work is executed as per design intent
- Manage and coordinate labour contractors, subcontractors, and daily workers on site — ensuring productivity, discipline, and safety
- Track daily progress against the project schedule and flag delays, blockers, or deviations to the Project Manager immediately
- Conduct quality checks at every stage of work ensuring finishes, alignments, levels, and materials meet Olsen's standards before sign-off
- Maintain a daily site report covering work done, manpower deployed, materials consumed, and pending items
- Coordinate material deliveries, check quantities against BOQ, and flag shortages or excess in advance
- Ensure the site is safe, organised, and compliant — tools stored properly, waste cleared regularly, and safety practices followed
- Support snagging, handover, and punch-list closure at project completion

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Understanding : Must have prior understanding supervising fit-out or interior construction in commercial spaces — offices, coworking spaces, retail, or hospitality.

Experience: Minimum 1 year and up to 4 years of hands-on site supervision experience in interior fit-out projects.





Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory. This is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.

Drawing Reading: Must be comfortable reading AutoCAD layouts, section drawings, and interior elevations. Ability to identify discrepancies between drawing and site execution is essential.

Own Two-Wheeler: Must own a bike for travel between Olsen sites. A valid driving licence is mandatory.

Communication: Proficiency in English and Hindi is preferred. Kannada will be an added advantage. Must be able to communicate clearly with labour, vendors, and the internal team.

Reporting Discipline: Must be comfortable maintaining daily site reports, checklists, and material logs digitally through the Olsen facility management system.

- False ceiling systems — grid, gypsum, and specialty ceilings
- Partition systems — drywalls, glass partitions, and modular partitions
- Flooring — vinyl, tile, wood, and polished concrete
- Carpentry and joinery — workstations, cabinets, reception counters, and storage
- Glass and aluminium works — frameless partitions, doors, and facades
- Painting and surface finishes — texture, enamel, and wallcoverings
- Electrical works — light fixture installation, conduit laying, DB coordination, and vendor management
- HVAC works — grille installation, FCU boxing, duct coordination, and vendor management
- Snagging and quality inspection — punch-list management and closure.
