About the Role

– ServiceNow HAM Pro & SAM Pro Senior Developer / Technical Lead Total Role: Senior Developer / Technical Lead Location: Pune Role Overview We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Hardware Asset Management Professional (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management Qualified (SAM Pro). The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, developing, and enhancing IT Asset Management solutions covering hardware and software lifecycle management, license compliance, asset optimization, integrations, and CMDB governance.

Responsibilities

- Design, configure, develop, and enhance ServiceNow HAM Pro and SAM Pro solutions.
- Implement end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle processes, including procurement, stockroom management, asset tracking, refresh, reclamation, and retirement.
- Configure HAM Pro components such as Asset Models, Stockrooms, Asset Classes, Hardware Catalogues, and Asset Workspace.
- Configure SAM Pro components including Software Models, Publishers, Entitlements, Contracts, License Metrics, and Reclamation Rules.
- Manage software license reconciliation, compliance, optimization, true-ups, and audit support.
- Integrate HAM Pro and SAM Pro with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping, ensuring accurate asset-to-CI relationships and data quality.
- Develop integrations with Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, JAMF, Active Directory, SAP, Oracle, and other procurement/inventory systems.
- Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies,



Flow Designer workflows, IntegrationHub Spokes, and Transform Maps.
- Build asset management dashboards, license compliance reports, and executive KPIs using ServiceNow reporting and Performance Analytics.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, deployments, UAT, production releases, and hypercare activities.
- Prepare technical design documents, integration specifications, configuration workbooks, and support documentation.

Qualifications

- 6–10 years of total IT experience.
- 4–7+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITAM modules.
- Practical implementation experience in both HAM Pro and SAM Pro.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software asset lifecycle management.
- Experience with CMDB, Discovery, asset reconciliation, and data normalization.
- Strong understanding of ITIL and IT Asset Management processes.
