Job Title: Senior Technical Consultant, Surveying, UAV & LiDAR

About the RoleJSR Services India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Consultant, Surveying, UAV & LiDAR (also referred to as Head – Surveying & Geospatial Operations) to lead technical and operational activities related to surveying, UAV mapping and LiDAR projects.

This is a senior technical and client-facing leadership role, not a routine field-surveyor position. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance, support client discussions, ensure quality standards and contribute to business development and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical discussions with clients and understand project requirements.
- Develop appropriate surveying, UAV mapping and LiDAR methodologies.
- Provide technical support for tenders, pre-sales and client presentations.
- Guide surveying and geospatial teams and support field troubleshooting.
- Establish and maintain technical SOPs and QA/QC practices.
- Review survey data, workflows, technical documentation and deliverables.
- Recommend suitable instruments, software and technical solutions.
- Support project execution and ensure quality, accuracy and safety standards.

Required Skills & Experience




- 10+ years of experience in civil/topographic surveying.
- Strong practical knowledge of Total Station, DGPS/GNSS and Auto Level.
- Experience in topographic, cadastral, boundary, alignment and related surveying.
- Experience with UAV/drone mapping, photogrammetry and LiDAR workflows.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D, CAD and GIS knowledge preferred.
- Strong technical judgement, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Client-facing communication, team leadership and technical guidance experience.
- Excellent English communication; Hindi is preferred.

EducationB.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering preferred. Candidates with a Diploma and substantial relevant experience may also be considered. Work LocationDelhi NCR, India. This is a full-time, on-site role with project-related travel.
