Senior SAP Techno-Functional Architect – eSPP & Supplier Management

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior SAP Techno-Functional Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of our global SAP Extended Service Parts Planning (eSPP)

and Supplier Management solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business strategies and complex technical execution. You will oversee end-to-end service parts planning, inventory optimization, and supplier collaboration processes, leveraging both deep SAP functional knowledge and technical expertise across S/4HANA, eSPP, SAP Ariba/Supplier Management, and BTP integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Solution Architecture & Strategic Design: Lead the end-to-end architectural vision and roadmaps for SAP eSPP and Supplier Management modules within an SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. Translate business strategy into scalable, high-performance SAP solution designs across planning, sourcing,

vendor onboarding, and parts fulfillment. Evaluate and recommend technical designs, custom ABAP extensions, SAP BTP services, API/OData integrations, and Fiori application architecture.
- eSPP & Service Parts Planning Expertise: Architect and optimize core eSPP processes, including

Demand History & Forecasting (Service Parts Demand Planning), Stock Determination & Inventory

Interchangeability, Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) & Deployment, and Inventory Balancing

& Surplus/Obsolescence Planning. Design seamless integrations between eSPP and SAP S/4HANA

Extended Warehouse Management (EWM),



Sales & Distribution (SD), and Transportation

Management (TM).

- Supplier Collaboration & Management Expertise: Lead solution delivery for Supplier Management processes, including supplier onboarding, qualification, performance evaluation, and procurement collaboration (SAP Ariba, SRM, or S/4HANA Supplier Lifecycle Management). Architect automated workflows and interfaces connecting eSPP planning outputs to supplier purchase orders, advanced shipping notifications (ASNs), and inventory visibility tools.
- Technical Leadership & Integration: Provide technical design oversight for ABAP/ABAP on HANA developments, BTP extensions, CDS views, and OData/REST services. Define integration patterns across SAP and third-party supply chain applications using SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and Event

Mesh. Guide functional and technical leads during build, testing, data migration, cutover, and hypercare phases.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Act as the trusted advisor to business leaders across

Supply Chain, Aftermarket Services, Logistics, and Procurement. Establish design principles,

architecture standards, and best practices for configuration, code quality, and performance tuning.





Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information

Technology, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent. 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP implementation and consulting, with 4+ years of explicit architectural experience in SAP eSPP/SPP

(Service Parts Planning). Solid proven expertise in SAP Supplier Management solutions (SAP Ariba,

SRM, or S/4HANA SLP/Procurement).

Functional Competencies: Deep understanding of service parts supply chain dynamics, including aftermarket planning, slow-moving inventory, multi-echelon stocking, and service level agreements.

Strong domain knowledge of procurement workflows, strategic sourcing, vendor performance metrics,

and supplier portal integrations. Experience with end-to-end SAP S/4HANA business processes across

Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).

Technical Competencies: Strong technical background in ABAP, ABAP RESTful Application

Programming (RAP), CDS Views, Fiori/UI5, and performance troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration Suite (CPI), IDocs, APIs, and

Event-Driven Architectures. Strong knowledge of S/4HANA data models, migration tools

(LTMC/Migration Cockpit), and enhancement frameworks.

Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills. Proven

- ability to mentor cross-functional functional and technical teams and lead multi-country rollouts.
