Role: Senior Python Developer / Technical Lead

Location: Pune (Onsite, Work from Office, 5 days a week)

Shift Time: UK Shift (02.00 PM to 11.00 PM IST)

Experience: 10+ years of hands-on Python development

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer who can design and build reliable applications, lead database implementation, and guide the team on sound software design principles

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Python applications, backend services, and APIs.
- Own database design and implementation, including data models, queries, indexing, migrations, performance, and backup strategies.
- Define application architecture and apply design principles such as SOLID, separation of concerns, and reusable design patterns.
- Review code, troubleshoot complex issues, and improve application performance and reliability.
- Establish standards for testing, documentation, security, and deployment.
- Mentor developers and work with product, UI, and infrastructure teams to deliver solutions.

Required Skills:

- 10+ years of strong, hands-on Python experience.




- Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask and REST API development.
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Practical understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, and scalable system architecture.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and production deployments.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, data protection, logging, and error handling.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and guide implementation.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, and container-based deployments.
- Familiarity with asynchronous processing, queues, caching, and integrations with third-party systems.
- Experience leading technical discussions, estimating work, and mentoring engineers.
- Exposure to AI services or enterprise integration platforms is an advantage.
