Company Description

Inkers Technology is based in Bengaluru with offices in the USA and UAE. We specialise in designing and developing deep, large-scale AI and ML solutions for the construction industry. With a focus on AI, computer vision and deep neural networks, we have built "Kaël", an AI project manager that predicts delays, flags risks, automates reporting and prevents cost overruns with real-time construction intelligence.

Our hardware platform, "Observance", uses LiDAR scanning, thermal imaging and AI-powered analysis to deliver BIM models, deviation detection and as-built intelligence.

Role Description

We are looking for a proactive Senior IT Administrator to own day-to-day IT operations while building out a more mature infrastructure, identity, endpoint and security backbone as Inkers scales. You will administer Microsoft 365 and endpoint/MDM environments end to end, strengthen identity and access management, support cloud administration across AWS/Azure, and act as the go-to escalation point for complex issues. You will anticipate needs and follow vendors and renewals through to closure, while keeping the workplace infrastructure and services our teams rely on every day running smoothly.

You should be willing to travel to project sites when required, including supporting 3D scanning equipment and in office IT needs. This is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

- Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive): licensing, mail flow, retention policies and PowerShell-driven automation.
- Manage identity and access across Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD): user provisioning and deprovisioning, security groups, MFA and Conditional Access.
- Administer endpoint and MDM environments (Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro or equivalent) across Windows, macOS and iOS: enrolment, compliance policies,

configuration profiles and app deployment.
- Provide IT support for hardware, software, network, email and systems; set up and configure laptops, desktops, monitors, printers and other equipment.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows and Linux systems.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, routers and other network issues; support enterprise networking (e.g. Cisco Meraki) where applicable.
- Assist with AWS/Azure cloud monitoring, administration and cost/performance optimisation.
- Maintain IT asset records, software licences and equipment inventories; maintain IT documentation, SOPs and troubleshooting records.
- Perform system updates, antivirus/EDR checks, backups and other security activities; support ISO 27001-aligned security and audit practices.
- Support CCTV, NVR, access-control and other office and site IT infrastructure.
- Own employee onboarding and offboarding from the IT side: system setup, access management, ID card and asset handover.
- Track IT issues end-to-end and ensure timely resolution; act as the Level 2/3 escalation point for IT.
- Travel to project sites when required for 3D scanning, scanning equipment setup and on-site IT support.
- Coordinate with vendors for internet, hardware, software and other IT services; compare quotes and keep contracts, renewals and invoices in order.
- Own workplace infrastructure upkeep: schedule preventive maintenance and servicing of air-conditioning, water purification, pantry and beverage equipment,

and biometric/attendance devices with the respective vendors.
- Negotiate, obtain and renew Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) for IT and workplace equipment; maintain an AMC and warranty tracker with renewal dates.
- Plan and procure office equipment, consumables and everyday workplace essentials so that supplies never run short; review and shortlist service vendors (such as pantry and catering) periodically.
- Arrange employee ID cards and business cards as part of onboarding and role changes.
- Be proactive: keep a preventive-maintenance calendar, raise renewals and replacements ahead of time, and flag issues before they affect the team.

Qualifications

- 2-3 years of experience in IT Administration, IT Support or System Administration.
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
- Robust knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, computer hardware, networking and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace administration.
- Working knowledge of AWS/Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with MDM/endpoint management (Intune, Jamf or similar) is a strong plus.
- Exposure to information security practices and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001) is a plus.
- Experience in vendor coordination, procurement and handling AMCs and renewals for IT and workplace equipment.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple requirements.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites when required.

Language Requirements

- Mandatory: fluency in English, Hindi and Kannada (spoken).
- Added advantage: any additional language (e.g. Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi).

Key Qualities Ownership, proactiveness, strong follow-up, vendor coordination, discretion with confidential information, and a service mindset.
