Key Responsibilities

- Research and write timely news covering the creator economy, social media platforms, brands, agencies and technology.
- Identify compelling, original angles beyond regular announcements and press releases.
- Write well-researched long-form features, industry analyses and investigative stories.
- Conduct interviews with creators, founders, agencies and industry professionals.
- Research industry reports, analyse data and develop evidence-backed stories.
- Actively monitor Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and industry conversations for newsworthy developments.
- Independently verify information, build industry sources and proactively pitch relevant stories.
- Work in a fast-paced newsroom,



managing multiple assignments and tight deadlines.

Requirements

- 3–6 years of experience in digital journalism, preferably business, technology, media or digital platforms.
- Excellent reporting, research, interviewing and writing skills.
- Strong editorial judgement and ability to find the story behind the news.
- Understanding of India's creator economy and social media ecosystem.
- Ability to interpret data, verify sources and write accurate, engaging articles.
- Proactive, curious and comfortable using AI-assisted research tools.
