Role Description

We are looking for a highly creative, skilled, and detail-oriented Senior Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join our team on a full-time remote basis, based in Bengaluru.

The candidate will be responsible for conceptualising and executing creative designs across branding, marketing collateral, social media, digital platforms, and print media. The role also involves planning, editing, and producing high-quality video content, motion graphics, and visual assets for various marketing campaigns.

The candidate must have strong expertise in graphic design and video editing, with the ability to independently handle projects from initial concepts to final delivery.

Important: Since Skyah Studio has significant printing and production requirements, expert-level proficiency in CorelDRAW is mandatory. Candidates without strong practical experience in CorelDRAW will not be considered for this position.

The candidate should be capable of managing multiple projects, following creative briefs and instructions, maintaining brand consistency, meeting deadlines, and coordinating effectively with the internal team.

Key Responsibilities

- Graphic Design & Branding
- Conceptualise and develop creative designs for brand identities, logos, brand guidelines, and visual communication.
- Design brochures, catalogues, company profiles, flyers, posters, product labels, packaging, standees,



and other marketing collateral.
- Create social media creatives, digital advertisements, banners, and website graphics.
- Maintain consistency in typography, colours, layouts, and overall brand guidelines.
- Convert creative concepts into high-quality, print-ready and digital-ready artwork.
- CorelDRAW & Printing – Mandatory Expertise
- Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in CorelDRAW for day-to-day design and printing requirements.
- Create and prepare artwork for labels, brochures, catalogues, packaging, large-format printing, and other print materials.
- Understand print specifications, bleed, margins, colour modes (CMYK/RGB), resolution, and file preparation.
- Prepare accurate print-ready files and coordinate with printing vendors whenever required.
- Make artwork adjustments based on printing specifications and production requirements.
- Ensure accuracy in dimensions, alignment, colours, and final output before sending files for printing.
- Video Editing & Motion Graphics
- Edit high-quality videos for social media, digital campaigns, promotional activities, and brand communications.
- Create engaging reels, short-form videos, promotional videos, and motion graphics.
- Work with transitions, effects, animations, sound, colour correction, and audio synchronisation.
- Adapt video content for different digital platforms and formats.
- Maintain consistency in visual storytelling and brand communication.
- Project Management & Team Collaboration
- Understand client briefs and translate them into effective creative solutions.
- Independently manage multiple design and video projects while meeting deadlines.
- Follow instructions, feedback, and revisions accurately.
- Coordinate with the creative, marketing, and management teams.
- Maintain organised project files, working files, and design assets.
- Take ownership of assigned projects from concept to final delivery.
- Support and guide junior designers whenever required.

Qualifications & Skills
- Strong expertise in Graphic Design, Visual Communication,



and Creative Concept Development.
- Mandatory: Expert-level proficiency in CorelDRAW. This is a critical requirement due to our extensive printing and production work.
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Good understanding of Adobe InDesign for brochures, catalogues, and multipage layouts.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, or equivalent professional tools.
- Strong knowledge of logo design, branding, typography, colour theory, composition, and layout.
- Practical experience in print design, packaging, labels, brochures, catalogues, and other marketing collateral.
- Understanding of printing processes, pre-press requirements, and print-ready artwork preparation.
- Experience in motion graphics, video editing, and social media content creation.
- Ability to understand briefs, follow instructions, accept feedback, and implement revisions accurately.
- Strong time management, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and accountability.
- A strong portfolio showcasing branding, graphic design, print design, and video editing projects.

Additional Requirements

- Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field, or equivalent qualified experience.
- Prior experience working in a creative agency, advertising agency, or printing and production environment will be preferred.
- Must have access to a reliable computer system and a stable internet connection suitable for skilled design and video editing work.
- Must be available for regular team meetings, project discussions, and coordination during working hours.
- Should be proactive, responsible, adaptable, and committed to delivering quality work.

CorelDRAW proficiency is non-negotiable for this position. The selected candidate must be comfortable handling both creative design assignments and practical printing requirements.
