TruScalar AI is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with Principal Engineer capabilities to architect, build, modernise, and scale enterprise-grade technology platforms.

This is a high-impact, hands-on engineering role for an experienced skilled who combines strong full stack development expertise with system architecture, cloud migration, and engineering team leadership. The ideal candidate can take end-to-end technical ownership, guide engineering teams, and deliver secure, scalable, production-ready solutions.

Experience in Education Technology, Healthcare Technology, ERP, or complex enterprise applications is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities1. Full Stack Development & Architecture

- Design and develop scalable applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, or equivalent technologies.
- Lead backend services, REST APIs, database design, integrations, and modular application architecture.
- Drive system design, code quality, performance optimisation, security, and engineering best practices.

2. Cloud & DevOps

- Lead application deployment, cloud migration, and modernisation on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, infrastructure configuration, and deployment automation.
- Drive improvements in scalability, reliability, security, performance, and cloud resource efficiency.

3. Database & Enterprise Systems

- Design and optimise database schemas, queries, integrations, and data access patterns across PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent technologies.
- Ensure data integrity, secure access, reliable migrations, and effective application performance.
- Build and maintain complex, integrated enterprise applications, including multi-tenant platforms and distributed systems.





4. Technical Leadership & Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and guide developers through architecture decisions, code reviews, technical problem-solving, and implementation.
- Translate business requirements into technical plans, tasks, milestones, and delivery priorities.
- Coordinate with product, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Own technical outcomes, production issues, engineering standards, documentation, and continuous improvement.

5. Education, Healthcare & AI-Enabled Platforms

- Contribute to enterprise solutions across Education Technology, Higher Education, Campus ERP, Healthcare Technology, Hospital Management Systems, and related domains.
- Understand complex business workflows, integrations, role-based access, data privacy, and operational requirements.
- Support the integration of AI-powered capabilities and intelligent workflows into enterprise applications where relevant.

What We're Looking For
- Robust hands-on full stack engineering experience with the technical depth expected of a Senior or Principal-level engineer.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and modern application development.
- Proven expertise in system design, application architecture, REST APIs, database design, and performance optimisation.
- Practical experience in legacy modernisation, application migration, or complex system transitions.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.




- Understanding of Docker, CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, production troubleshooting, and application security.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or technically managing engineering teams.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently drive technical initiatives from assessment and design through deployment and production support.

Preferred Experience
- Education Technology, University ERP, Campus Management Systems, Healthcare Technology, Hospital Management Systems, or other enterprise platforms.
- Cloud migration from on-premises or legacy environments.
- Multi-tenant SaaS, microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integrations.
- Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, automated testing, observability, or cloud-native architecture.
- Exposure to GenAI, LLM APIs, or AI-enabled enterprise applications.
