Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Associate – M&A; with experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and Transaction Tax Advisory. The candidate will be responsible for supporting clients on M&A; transactions, tax structuring, due diligence and transaction-related advisory assignments.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in executing M&A; transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, business restructuring and reorganisations.
- Provide transaction tax advisory support on domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Conduct tax due diligence to identify potential tax exposures, risks and opportunities.
- Analyse tax implications of proposed mergers, acquisitions and business restructuring transactions.
- Assist in evaluating tax-productive transaction structures and provide recommendations.
- Undertake detailed analysis of Direct Tax implications arising from M&A; transactions.
- Support preparation of tax advisory reports, presentations, proposals and client deliverables.
- Conduct research on applicable tax laws, regulatory requirements and relevant judicial pronouncements.




- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely execution of transaction assignments.
- Assist senior team members in identifying tax risks and providing practical solutions to clients.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in M&A; and Transaction Tax Advisory.
- Experience in a Big 4, reputed CA firm or consulting/advisory organisation preferred.
- Good understanding of M&A; transactions, tax due diligence and transaction structuring.
- Exposure to Direct Tax and tax implications of mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong analytical, research, communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work in a client-facing environment.
