About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Audit Associate to join our US Audit practice. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and supervising external audit engagements for US-based clients, ensuring compliance with applicable auditing and accounting standards. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with global engagement teams, develop industry expertise, and contribute to delivering high-quality audit and assurance services.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise external/statutory audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Plan, perform, and review audit procedures in accordance with U.S. GAAS and U.S. GAAP.
- Identify and assess audit risks and evaluate internal controls.
- Research and resolve accounting, auditing, and financial reporting issues.
- Prepare and review audit documentation, workpapers, and financial statement disclosures.
- Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines while maintaining audit quality.
- Coordinate with global engagement teams for seamless audit execution.
- Review work performed by junior team members and provide guidance and mentoring.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Build strong professional relationships with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Qualified CA, CPA.
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in external audit or assurance.
- Experience with Big 4, mid-tier accounting firms, GCCs, or multinational organizations preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and risk-based audit methodologies.
- Understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Proficiency in audit documentation and data analytics tools.
- Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven approach.
