Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. In this position, the counselor guides prospective learners through the admissions process, including responding to inquiries, conducting counseling sessions, and recommending suitable programs based on academic background and career goals. The role involves managing leads, following up with prospects via phone, email, and messaging, and maintaining accurate records in admissions systems.





The counselor collaborates with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, supports applicants with documentation and application completion, and works towards meeting admissions and enrollment targets. The role also includes providing clear information on program features, fees, and policies, while maintaining a qualified, learner-centric approach at all times.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse learners.
- Customer service and learner support skills to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and deliver a positive admissions experience.
- Sales and counseling skills to manage leads, convert inquiries into enrollments, and meet admissions targets ethically.
- Background or understanding in education, EdTech, or academic advising to align programs with learners’ career objectives.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in Education, Management, or Counseling is an advantage.
- Experience in admissions, counseling, inside sales, or academic advisory roles, preferably in EdTech or higher education.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and digital communication platforms.
- Ability to work from the Gurugram office, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet performance metrics while maintaining ethical standards.
