We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to join our team at Kanpur.

We need someone who is comfortable managing day-to-day accounts, keeping financial records accurate, and helping us maintain smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounts and entries in Tally.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other tax-related work.
- Manage purchase and sales accounting.
- Perform bank, cash, and supplier reconciliations.
- Track supplier payments and outstanding balances.
- Prepare monthly financial reports.
- Identify and correct accounting errors.
- Coordinate with our CA for tax filings and compliance.

Requirements

- 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of Tally Prime, GST, and Excel.
- Experience in retail or trading businesses preferred.
- Good understanding of accounting and reconciliations.
- Honest, organised, and comfortable taking responsibility.
- Able to work independently.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.




- Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and receivable management, bank reconciliation, and cash flow tracking.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of tax compliance, statutory reporting, and familiarity with audit processes.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, ERP systems, or similar tools) and Microsoft Excel.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and management.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is required; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in automotive, retail, or dealership environments, particularly in a senior or supervisory accounting role, is beneficial.
