Role Description The Senior Accountant role at DhartiKa is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

The Senior

Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, and support statutory audits. The role includes managing tax computations and filings, monitoring budgets and cash flow,



and providing financial analysis to support management decisions.

Accountant will collaborate closely with internal teams, maintain accurate financial records, and help improve accounting processes and controls.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Experience with taxation, including GST, TDS, and other regulatory compliances relevant to Indian business operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, ERP systems, or similar tools) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to review and reconcile complex accounts.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably within FMCG, distribution, or related industries.
