Job Title: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SDET to contribute to quality initiatives across our web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automation testing (Java-based frameworks), a strong understanding of SDLC/STLC, and a proven track record of ensuring high-quality deliveries within agile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

●Plan, execute, and deliver high-quality product releases on time in collaboration with the QA team.

●Contribute to defining and implementing testing strategies across manual and automation testing.

●Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

●Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG, or similar tools.

●Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

●Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Product Managers, DevOps) to identify and resolve quality issues early in the lifecycle.

●Contribute to continuous improvements in testing processes, automation coverage, and defect prevention strategies.

●Monitor and report key QA metrics (defect density, defect leakage, test execution rate, etc.).

●Share knowledge and support peers to enhance technical and analytical skills.





Required Skills & Qualifications:

●Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

●2-4 years of hands-on experience in QA.

●Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts, test case design, and defect tracking.

●Hands-on experience in automation testing using Java, with experience in Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, and TestNG/JUnit.

●Experience with API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.

●Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

●Familiarity with Allure, Extent Reports, or other reporting tools.

●Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Good to Have:

●Experience in performance testing (e.g., JMeter).

●Exposure to mobile testing (Appium or similar).

●Basic knowledge of SQL and database validations.

●Awareness of cloud-based testing tools and environments.

Education Background Any of the following

● Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (B. Tech.). Computer Science background is a plus.

● Master’s Degree in Technology (M.Tech.).

● Master’s in Computer Applications (M.C.A.).
