Role Description The Sales Manager role is a full time, on-site position based in Cuttack.

The Sales

Manager will oversee sales operations, lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, and drive business growth through effective planning and execution of sales strategies.

Responsibilities include setting sales targets, monitoring performance, conducting regular reviews and training, and ensuring adherence to company processes and compliance standards. The role involves building strong relationships with customers and channel partners, conducting market outreach and field visits,



and promoting Shriram Life Insurance products to meet customer needs.

Manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to optimize sales initiatives and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in sales management, business development, or insurance sales leadership, preferably in life insurance or financial services.
- Strong skills in team leadership, coaching, performance management, and motivating diverse sales teams.
- Ability to develop and implement sales plans, analyze sales data, and use metrics to improve results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with customers and distribution partners.
- Good understanding of insurance products, regulatory guidelines, and customer-centric selling practices.
- Comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and basic MS Office applications to manage sales activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or sales are an advantage.
- Strong ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to serving both rural and urban markets.
