Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Engineer – Civil & Construction Products based in Chennai.

The Sales

Engineer will identify and pursue business opportunities for tiles, sanitaryware, precast elements, and concrete flooring solutions with retail, project, and institutional clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting prospective customers, conducting site visits, understanding technical requirements, preparing proposals, and presenting product solutions aligned with project specifications.



The role involves providing technical support to clients, coordinating with internal design and production teams, and ensuring timely order closure and after-sales follow-up.

The Sales

Engineer will also maintain accurate sales reports, participate in product demonstrations, and represent the brand at industry events and customer meetings.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering skills with exposure to civil, construction, or building materials projects.
- Candidates should possess effective Sales and Customer Service skills to manage leads, convert opportunities, and support clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for client presentations, technical discussions, and internal coordination.
- Candidates should ideally have a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field; experience in tiles, sanitaryware, precast, or concrete flooring is an advantage.

- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to read drawings, understand construction workflows, and work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and project managers.
- Candidates should be comfortable with on-site field work, basic CRM or sales reporting tools, and have a valid willingness to travel within the region as needed.
