Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in the Pune Division.

The Sales

Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities, promote SEIMITSU’s automation and engineering solutions, and manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with industrial customers, understanding their technical and operational requirements, proposing suitable products and automation solutions, and preparing quotations and technical proposals. The role involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, conducting product demonstrations and presentations, and coordinating with internal technical teams and international suppliers to ensure accurate solution delivery.

Engineer will also maintain customer relationships, handle inquiries and service requests, track market trends, and regularly report sales activities and forecasts.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand industrial automation products and translate technical requirements into practical solutions.




- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to conduct presentations, manage client interactions, and build long-term professional relationships.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, opportunity management, and closing deals in B2B industrial markets.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
- Knowledge of factory automation, robotics, motion control, power transmission, and related industrial components will be an advantage.
- Ability to work in office in the Pune Division, travel to customer locations as needed, and collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic CRM usage are beneficial.
