Join a team responsible for designing, planning, and optimizing next-generation wireless networks. As an RF Planning & Optimization Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-performance 4G LTE and 5G NR networks through effective radio network planning, propagation modeling, capacity forecasting, and coverage optimization. You will leverage industry-leading tools such as Atoll, NDE, ACP, and Monte Carlo Simulation to enhance network performance, improve user experience, and support large-scale telecom deployments.

Your Role

We are looking for a professional with 6-12 years of experience in RF Planning and Optimization for LTE (4G) and 5G networks. You will be responsible for RF network planning, propagation model development, coverage and capacity optimization, and network performance analysis. Working closely with deployment, optimization, and customer teams, you will ensure efficient radio network design, improved coverage, enhanced capacity, and continuous improvement of network performance.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Atoll, NDE, link budget analysis, propagation modeling, capacity planning, and RF optimization methodologies.

In This Role, You Will

RF Planning & Design

- Perform Link Budget Analysis for LTE and 5G NR networks.
- Conduct propagation modeling and calibration activities for accurate radio coverage predictions.
- Develop cluster-level network plans based on coverage, capacity, and traffic requirements.
- Execute ACP (Automatic Cell Planning) and Monte Carlo simulations to support network design activities.
- Support nominal planning and detailed radio network design initiatives.

Coverage & Capacity Planning

- Perform coverage prediction and analysis using Atoll and NDE tools.
- Analyze and optimize:
- Coverage Maps
- Interference Maps
- Dominance Areas
- CINR/SINR Performance
- RSRP & RSRQ Predictions
- Throughput Forecasts
- Conduct capacity planning and load growth forecasting for LTE and 5G networks.




- Identify coverage gaps and recommend network enhancement solutions.

Propagation Model Development

- Tune and calibrate propagation models using drive-test and network performance data.
- Validate propagation model accuracy and planning assumptions.
- Improve prediction accuracy across urban, suburban, and rural environments.
- Ensure compliance with RF planning standards and design methodologies.

Network Performance Analysis

- Analyze radio KPIs and network performance trends.
- Support optimization initiatives to improve network quality and customer experience.
- Perform interference analysis and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate network expansion needs based on capacity and performance objectives.

Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare RF planning reports, coverage studies, and capacity assessment documents.
- Document planning assumptions, simulation results, and optimization recommendations.
- Collaborate with deployment, operations, and customer teams for successful project execution.
- Maintain project deliverables and planning guidelines documentation.

Your Profile

Mandatory Skills

- Hands-on experience in RF Planning and Optimization for LTE (4G) and 5G NR networks.
- Strong expertise in Link Budget Analysis and Radio Network Design.
- Experience with Propagation Modeling, Model Calibration, and Model Tuning.
- Knowledge of Coverage Planning and Capacity Planning methodologies.
- Expertise in Interference Analysis and Optimization activities.
- Experience analyzing RSRP, RSRQ, CINR/SINR, and network KPIs.




- Strong understanding of Cluster Planning and Traffic Forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with Atoll and NDE tools.
- Good understanding of wireless network architecture and RF principles.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
