Role Description The QC Officer is a full-time, on-site position based in Nainital, responsible for ensuring that all pharmaceutical and healthcare products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. In this role, the QC Officer conducts routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using appropriate laboratory methods and instruments. The position involves documenting and reviewing test results, maintaining accurate records, and promptly reporting deviations or non-conformities.

The QC Officer collaborates with production and quality assurance teams to investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.



Daily tasks also include calibrating equipment, following standard operating procedures, participating in internal audits, and upholding safety and good laboratory practices.

Qualifications

- Strong Quality Control skills, including product testing, documentation, and adherence to SOPs.
- Solid Analytical Skills for data interpretation, root cause analysis, and problem-solving in a regulated environment.
- Effective Communication skills for clear reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance with quality standards.
- Proficient Laboratory Skills, including handling instruments, sample preparation, and application of Valuable Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Foundational knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, including CAPA, risk-based approaches, and internal audit support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare manufacturing quality operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (such as GMP) and safety protocols in laboratory and production settings.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work systematically in a fast-paced environment.
