What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong manual testing skills, knowledge of test automation, and an interest in leveraging AI tools to automate repetitive manual processes. The ideal candidate should be capable of validating data, identifying defects, improving testing efficiency, and developing automation solutions to reduce manual effort.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual testing and quality checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data and application outputs.
- Validate test results against business requirements, expected outputs, and predefined quality standards.
- Identify, document, track, and report defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing activities.
- Identify opportunities to automate existing manual workflows and implement solutions to improve productivity and turnaround time.
- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools to assist with test case creation, script development, debugging, and test automation.
- Perform regression testing whenever changes or fixes are introduced.
- Validate large datasets, identify duplicate or missing records, and investigate data discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain test cases,



test scenarios, test execution reports, defect logs, and QA documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to resolve issues and improve overall product quality.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve QA processes through scripting, AI-assisted automation, and workflow optimization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 3–4 years of experience in Quality Assurance, software testing, data validation, or a related role.
- Robust hands-on experience in manual testing, test case design, test execution, and defect reporting.
- Working knowledge of test automation using Python, JavaScript, Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Ability to write, execute, debug, and maintain basic automation scripts.
- Familiarity with AI-powered development and productivity tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent tools.
- Ability to identify repetitive manual tasks and convert them into automated workflows.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Good to Have

- Experience using AI tools to generate test scripts, analyze errors, or automate QA workflows.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Issues, pull requests, and version control.
- Experience with API testing, regression testing, and data-driven testing.
- Experience with Excel, Power Query, or Python for data validation and process automation.
