Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Assistant Manager / Manager to manage and execute PR strategies for multiple client accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong media relations, content development, client servicing, and team coordination skills.

This role requires someone who can independently manage day-to-day PR activities while contributing to strategic planning and ensuring high-quality campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day PR activities for assigned client accounts.

Develop and execute PR strategies and communication plans.

Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with media professionals and journalists.

Lead media outreach, pitching, and follow-ups.

Draft and review press releases, media pitches, bylines, and other communication materials.

Coordinate with digital, social media, creative, and strategy teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Supervise, mentor, and guide PR executives and junior team members.

Monitor media coverage and prepare reports, insights, and campaign analysis.

Participate in client meetings, status updates, and presentations.

Support issue management and reactive communication requirements.

Contribute to new business pitches, proposals,



and presentations.

Ensure timely delivery of projects while managing multiple clients and deadlines.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Public Relations and Media Relations.

Excellent media outreach and journalist relationship management skills.

Strong writing and content development abilities.

Experience in drafting press releases, media pitches, bylines, and communication materials.

Ability to manage multiple client accounts independently.

Understanding of integrated communications, digital PR, and marketing.

Strong client servicing and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in team coordination and mentoring junior members.

Valuable analytical and reporting skills.

Proficiency in PowerPoint presentations and AI tools.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

4–7 years of relevant experience in a PR agency or integrated communications environment.

Experience managing corporate and brand communication accounts is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a proactive PR professional with strong media connections, excellent communication skills, and the ability to independently manage client relationships and PR campaigns while effectively coordinating with internal teams.
