Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai for a Project Engineer Civil with experience in restaurant and QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) projects. The role involves managing end-to-end civil engineering aspects of new restaurant constructions, fit-outs, and refurbishments, ensuring designs meet brand standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing drawings, coordinating with architects, MEP and electrical teams, contractors, and vendors, and monitoring site progress against project timelines and budgets.

The Project

Engineer will oversee quality control, conduct site inspections, manage material planning, and support troubleshooting during execution.



The role also includes preparing project reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting cross-functional teams such as operations, procurement, and design to deliver seamless project handovers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Civil Engineering skills, ideally with proven experience in Restaurant or QSR projects.
- Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills, including scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination, and risk mitigation.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Candidates should possess basic understanding of Electrical Engineering and MEP coordination to ensure integrated project execution.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Primavera) are an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with site supervision, AutoCAD or similar drafting tools, and familiarity with local building codes and safety standards.
- Ability to work on multiple sites, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced hospitality environments.
- Prior experience in F&B;, hospitality, or retail fit-outs in Mumbai or similar metropolitan locations is preferred.
