Role Description The Professor of Finance role at Amity University is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This role involves delivering high-quality lectures and seminars in finance and related subjects, designing and updating course curricula, and evaluating student performance through assignments, examinations, and projects. The professor will conduct and supervise academic research, guide postgraduate and doctoral students,



and contribute to publications in reputed journals.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include participating in academic committees, engaging with industry for collaborative initiatives, mentoring students, and supporting the development of new academic programs in finance and allied areas.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong subject-matter expertise in Finance and Corporate Finance.
- Candidates should possess skills in Accounting and related financial reporting practices.
- Candidates should possess a solid grounding in Economics and its application to financial decision-making.
- Candidates should possess advanced Research skills, including quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated record of quality research publications and academic contributions.
- Prior teaching experience at the university level, preferably in finance or related disciplines.
