Role Description This full-time, on-site Professor of Finance role is based at Amity University’s Mohali district location. The Professor of Finance will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate finance courses, including lectures, seminars, case discussions, and workshops that reflect current industry practices and research.

Responsibilities include developing curricula and teaching materials, supervising student projects and dissertations, mentoring learners on academic and career pathways,



and actively contributing to departmental and university-level academic initiatives. The role involves conducting high-quality research in finance and related areas, publishing in reputable journals, participating in conferences, and engaging in collaborations with industry and academic partners. The professor will also support accreditation processes, contribute to academic committees, and participate in outreach and professional development activities aligned with the university’s mission and values.

Qualifications

- Strong academic expertise in Finance and Corporate Finance, with the ability to teach advanced concepts and applications.
- Solid foundation in Accounting and Economics to support interdisciplinary teaching and research in business and finance.
- Demonstrated Research skills, including experience in quantitative and/or qualitative methods and peer-reviewed publications in relevant fields.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in teaching at the university level, with evidence of effective pedagogy and student engagement.
- Ability to integrate practical, industry-focused perspectives into curriculum design and classroom delivery.
- Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to inclusive and learner-centered education.
- Willingness to contribute to institutional development, academic administration, and collaborative research initiatives.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, CMA) and industry
