Role Description: The Photographer role is a full-time, in office position based in Mumbai. The Photographer will capture high-quality images of rugs and related products for catalogs, digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and client presentations. Daily responsibilities include planning and executing studio and on-location shoots, styling products, setting up lighting and backgrounds, and ensuring color accuracy and texture detail in images.

The role also involves editing and retouching photos, maintaining a well-organized image library, and collaborating closely with design, marketing, and sales teams to meet brand and project requirements. The Photographer will contribute ideas to visual storytelling and help refine the visual identity of Saraswati Global Rugs across all channels.

Qualifications:

- Carpet Photography: Capture high-quality photographs of carpets, including Hand Knotted, Hand Tufted, Handloom,



and other carpet categories.
- Product Shoot: Conduct professional product shoots for different carpet designs, textures, patterns, colours, and sizes.
- Lighting & Setup: Manage camera settings, lighting, backgrounds, and shooting angles to ensure accurate colour representation and detailed carpet textures.
- Product Editing: Edit and retouch photographs using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or other photo-editing software while maintaining the original carpet colours and details.
- E-Commerce Photography: Prepare high-resolution product images for company websites, online marketplaces, catalogues, and social media platforms.
- Catalogue Management: Organise and maintain product photographs with proper design codes, product names, categories, and reference details.
- Coordination: Coordinate with the Design, Product Development, E-Commerce, and Marketing teams to understand product requirements and complete photography assignments on time.
- Creative Photography: Capture lifestyle, interior, and room-setting photographs showcasing carpets in different spaces to enhance product presentation and marketing.

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and photography equipment.
- Experience in product and commercial photography.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Understanding of lighting, composition, colour correction, and image editing.
- Knowledge of e-commerce product photography.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and time management.
- Preferred Experience: 3–5 years in product photography, preferably in carpets, rugs, textiles, or home furnishing products.
