Role Description The Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role oversees day-to-day production activities on the shop floor, ensuring adherence to production schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements.

The Production

Supervisor coordinates workforce allocation, monitors machinery and equipment performance, and resolves production issues to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include tracking output against targets, maintaining documentation, supporting continuous improvement initiatives,



and collaborating with quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery to customers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
- Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and managing Production Schedules to meet delivery timelines and optimize resources.
- Candidates should possess Production Management capabilities, including process oversight, workflow optimization, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, frontline staff, and management.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in sheet metal manufacturing or automotive components production is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO quality systems, lean manufacturing, and 5S practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace, analyze production data, and implement process improvements.
