You’ll make a difference by:

- Act as a senior EDI and supplier integration specialist responsible for driving supplier digitalization and ensuring reliable end-to-end electronic business transactions across Siemens' Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Provide expert consultancy on EDI standards, supplier onboarding, business process integration, testing, and solution design. Lead complex onboarding and integration initiatives, support business transformation programs, and serve as a key liaison between suppliers, procurement organizations, ERP teams, external service providers, and global EDI governance functions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement, standardization, and automation of supplier collaboration processes while ensuring compliance with Siemens EDI standards and business requirements.
- EDI & Integration Expertise
- Serve as a subject matter expert for supplier EDI processes, B2B integrations, and electronic business collaboration.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable EDI and integration solutions.
- Design, maintain, and optimize EDI processes supporting the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with Siemens EDI standards, message guidelines, and integration best practices.

- Supplier Onboarding & Implementation

- Lead end-to-end supplier onboarding projects from initial assessment through go-live and hypercare.
- Coordinate onboarding activities between suppliers, Procurement, Accounting, ERP teams, and external EDI service providers.
- Define onboarding approaches, implementation plans, testing strategies, and deployment schedules.
- Drive adoption of electronic business processes and supplier digitalization initiatives.

- Testing & Deployment





- Coordinate functional, syntactical, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, and go-live readiness assessments.

- Operational Excellence & Support

- Act as escalation point for complex EDI incidents, transaction failures, and integration issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution across multiple stakeholders.
- Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient operation of supplier-facing EDI processes.

- Governance & Continuous Improvement

- Contribute to development and maintenance of global EDI standards and onboarding methodologies.
- Support strategic initiatives focused on automation, process harmonization, and digital transformation.
- Maintain implementation documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge management assets.
- Share expertise and provide guidance to team members and project stakeholders.

Technical Knowledge

- Advanced knowledge of EDI concepts, standards, and message structures:
- UN/EDIFACT
- Siemens EDIFACT Standard (SES)
- ANSI X12 / SAS
- XML / DIN5XML
- IDoc

- Experience with communication protocols:

- AS2
- HTTPS
- SFTP
- OFTP2
- OpenFT

- Strong understanding of ERP integrations, preferably SAP ERP and related procurement platforms.
- Knowledge of supplier integration architecture and B2B communication frameworks.
- Strong understanding of:

- Manage end-to-end testing cycles, UAT activities, and go-live deployments.
- Investigate transaction failures and resolve complex integration issues.
- Participate in SAP implementation, upgrade, and transformation projects.
- Identify automation opportunities and support supplier digitalization initiatives.
- Maintain onboarding documentation, implementation standards, and knowledge articles.
- Support global alignment of EDI standards and supplier integration practices.
