Role Description The Plant Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Changsari, Assam, responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations of the plastic furniture plant. This role includes planning and monitoring production schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of equipment and resources, and maintaining consistent product quality and safety standards.

The Plant

Manager will lead and develop plant teams, coordinate with procurement and logistics to manage materials and inventory, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. The role also involves tracking key performance metrics,



ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies, and collaborating with senior leadership on operational strategy and capacity planning.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Plant Management and Plant Operations to oversee end-to-end functioning of the manufacturing facility.
- Proficiency in Operations Management and Manufacturing Operations to drive efficiency, quality, and safety across processes.
- Experience with Production Planning to manage schedules, capacity, and resource allocation effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, with solid people management and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing best practices, health and safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Ability to analyze operational data, use basic manufacturing or ERP software, and make data-informed decisions.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production, Operations Management.
- 4-7 years of experience in similar role in Manufacturing industry.
- Experience in plastics manufacturing or furniture production is an advantage.
