Olam Agri is dedicated to sourcing high-quality natural rubber from more than 40,000 smallholder farmers across Côte d'Ivoire. All raw materials are processed into Technically Specified Rubber (TSR) at our state-of-the-art factories located within the country. These facilities boast an impressive annual capacity of 176,000 tons and are fully ISO 9001 certified, reflecting our commitment to stringent quality standards and continuous improvement.

A Plant Head is responsible for leading end-to-end plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production while meeting quality, cost, and customer requirements. The role oversees production, maintenance, quality, safety, manpower, and operational performance, while driving continuous improvement, productivity, and cost optimization across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

Operational and Production Management





- Oversee daily operations of the rubber processing facility to meet production targets.
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
- Manage all factory equipment, implementing a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure reliability.

Quality and Compliance

- Ensure all processing activities adhere to strict quality control standards.
- Maintain the factory's ISO 9001 certification and other relevant quality benchmarks.
- Develop and implement HSE protocols to ensure a protected and healthy working environment.

Team Leadership and Development

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of processing staff.
- Conduct training and performance management for all team members.

Reporting and Strategy

- Prepare and present regular reports on production output, quality metrics, and operational performance to senior management.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Proven experience of min. 10 years as a Plant Head or Production Manager and seeking to manage large, independent operations.
- Excellent people management skills and the ability to lead a team with diverse personalities and skillsets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities concurrently.
