As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability of the system environment. The engineer works with various standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility and optimal performance.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and continuous improvement of application processes is also a key part of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective application configurations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain clear records to support knowledge sharing and audit requirements.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices to foster professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Solid knowledge of SAP HANA database concepts and in-memory computing.
- Experience in developing and optimizing ABAP code for performance improvements.
- Familiarity with integration techniques using APIs and web services within SAP environments.
- Ability to work with low-code platforms to extend application functionality.
- Understanding of software release management and version control processes.
Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
