As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and ensuring the overall stability and reliability of the systems. The engineer works with various standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility and optimal performance.
Collaboration with different teams to monitor and enhance application functionality is also a key part of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain clear records to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Experience with integration patterns and middleware technologies related to cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of APIs, connectors, and low-code/no-code development environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and configuration issues.
- Familiarity with release management processes and version control systems.
Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
