As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and maintaining system stability to ensure seamless operation. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility and optimal performance.
Collaboration with different teams and stakeholders is a key part of the daily routine to address challenges and enhance application functionality effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records to support future maintenance and audits.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Qualified & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and optimizing code for SAP HANA environments to improve application performance.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules integration and data processing within the HANA platform.
- Ability to work with APIs and low-code platforms to extend and customize packaged applications.
- Familiarity with debugging, testing, and deploying SAP ABAP programs in a controlled environment.
- Knowledge of system release management and version control processes.
Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
