- Handle Export FCL ocean freight pricing enquiries and provide timely, competitive quotations for conversions.
- Negotiate ocean freight rates with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents.
- Manage project shipment pricing, including OOG, Flat Rack, Open Top, heavy-lift, and breakbulk cargo.
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors to assess cargo feasibility, equipment availability, and routing options.
- Prepare detailed cost sheets covering freight, local charges, special equipment, and handling costs.
- Ensure target GP margins and high conversion levels
- Monitor market trends, freight rate fluctuations, and carrier capacity to improve buying competitiveness.
- Coordinate with Customers, Sales to convert business and managing the team for smooth shipment execution.
- Follow up on pending quotations and proactively drive enquiry-to-booking conversion.
- Maintain updated rate sheets, quotation trackers, and pricing records while adhering to company SOPs.
