Hiring: Manager / Lead – Microbiology | Formulation & API

We are looking for an experienced Microbiology Manager to lead microbiology operations for a Formulation & API facility manufacturing Hormonal, High-Potency Drugs and Oral Contraceptives.

Qualification: M.Sc. Microbiology

Experience: Minimum 15 years in Pharmaceutical Microbiology

CTC: Up to ₹18 LPA

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Microbiology Laboratory Operations for Formulation & API.
- Manage microbiological testing, Environmental Monitoring and Water Monitoring programs.
- Ensure timely testing of raw materials, in-process, finished products, stability and cleaning validation samples.
- Lead OOS, deviations, laboratory incidents, investigations, RCA and CAPA.
- Review SOPs, specifications, protocols, validation studies, reports and trend analyses.




- Ensure compliance with GMP, data integrity and applicable pharmacopeial/regulatory requirements.
- Drive inspection readiness and support regulatory/customer audits.
- Ensure effective utilization of LIMS/SAP and compliance of laboratory equipment.
- Lead, coach and develop the Microbiology team.

Candidate Requirements

- M.Sc. Microbiology
- Minimum 15 years' experience
- Experience in both Formulation & API facilities
- Robust Environmental & Water Monitoring experience
- Strong investigation, OOS, CAPA and regulatory compliance exposure
- Team-management experience
