Role Description The Mechanical Engineer will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design, development, and improvement of knife edge gate valves, control valves, and steam control systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing mechanical designs, preparing CAD models and drawings, and supporting product development from concept through production. The role involves collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve technical issues, optimize designs for performance and cost, and ensure adherence to industry standards.

The Mechanical

Engineer will also participate in testing and validation activities, assist in project planning,



and provide technical documentation and support for internal stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills for industrial valve and system applications.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating detailed models, assemblies, and production drawings.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan tasks, track progress, and coordinate cross-functional activities.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) skills to support current product development and design improvements.
- Relevant qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, preferably with experience in valves, piping, or fluid control systems.
- Additional beneficial skills include knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials selection, engineering calculations, and familiarity with industry standards and safety practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams, and use engineering software tools effectively.
