Role Description The Logistics Area Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Siliguri, responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations within the assigned region. This role involves planning and coordinating transportation schedules, managing fleet and drivers, monitoring shipment status, and resolving operational issues to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

- Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on operational efficiency.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with drivers, staff, and clients.
- Understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in transportation and warehousing.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, operations management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, trucking, or related sectors; regional knowledge of Siliguri and surrounding areas is an advantage.
