Role Description The Line Leader – PU Foam Production is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The role is responsible for leading daily PU foam production activities on the shop floor, including organizing work schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring output to meet production targets and quality standards.

The Line

Leader oversees equipment setup, operates and checks PU foam machinery, ensures proper material usage, and coordinates with maintenance for timely repairs and preventive maintenance. The role includes enforcing safety procedures, conducting visual and dimensional inspections, documenting production data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Leader also trains and guides team members, communicates issues and updates to supervisors, and collaborates with quality, logistics, and planning teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

- Experience in PU foam or similar manufacturing processes, with ability to oversee production lines and meet daily targets.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical and technical operations of production machinery,



and ability to coordinate with maintenance for equipment upkeep.
- Understanding of quality control procedures, inspection methods, and documentation practices within an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards, safe material handling, and adherence to environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Strong team leadership skills, including task delegation, on-the-job training, and clear communication with diverse production teams.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, production plans, and basic technical documents; working knowledge of MS Office or similar tools is an advantage.
- Minimum of a relevant technical diploma or vocational qualification in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing disciplines; experience in automotive or Tier-1 supplier environments is preferred.

- Willingness to work in shifts in the Pune Division, maintain high reliability and punctuality, and contribute to continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
