Lead – Business Analyst

Position Description

Be the bridge between business and technology! As Lead – Business Analyst, you’ll drive strategic initiatives by translating business needs into scalable tech solutions. You’ll collaborate across functions, define customer journeys, and lead requirement analysis for life insurance products.

Primary Responsibilities

- Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Underwriting, Actuary, Operations, Claims, Finance) and external partners to align processes and applications.
- Lead requirement elicitation and system solution design.
- Define and optimize customer journeys across platforms.
- Coordinate with development teams on project planning, sprint execution, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with Product Managers for weekly sprint planning and prioritization.
- Drive business process improvements and ensure alignment with development efforts.
- Provide functional insights and support across life insurance processes—quote, policy issuance, finance, and claims.
- Conduct impact analysis and ensure traceability of requirements.




- Support API integration and validate system behavior using SQL.
- Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements (Experience And Education)

- 8–12 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in life insurance.
- Deep expertise in at least one life insurance process (quote, issuance, finance, or claims).
- Hands-on experience with SQL and API integration.
- Understanding of Java, microservices, and web services is a plus.
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (technical or insurance background preferred).
