We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager – Aerospace & Defence to drive strategic sales and manage key customer accounts across India.
The role will be responsible for achieving revenue and order targets, managing complex sales cycles and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across Aerospace & Defence organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own strategic customer accounts and achieve assigned revenue and order-intake targets.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity qualification to proposal, negotiation and order closure.
- Build strong relationships with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Project Managers and Commercial Decision-Makers.
- Identify account expansion and cross-selling opportunities.
- Manage customer proposals, commercial negotiations and sales forecasts.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Understand customer requirements and position appropriate engineering, simulation, testing and validation solutions.
- Build long-term relationships with Aerospace & Defence OEMs, PSUs, government organisations and Tier-1 suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal technical and application teams to support customer requirements and close opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in Aerospace & Defence sales.
- Proven track record in complex B2B technology / solution sales.
- Strong network across Aerospace & Defence OEMs, PSUs, government organisations or Tier-1 suppliers.
- Experience managing large-value and long sales-cycle opportunities.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation and account-management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial understanding and demonstrated ability to close business.
- Engineering degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
