About the Role
You know what makes someone stop scrolling and take notice of a design. We’re looking for that instinct.You'll own the look of RockED's marketing: the emails that land in dealers' inboxes and the LinkedIn posts that show up in their feeds. Bring your creativity, experiment with Photoshop, Illustrator, and AI image tools, and find the best way to turn ideas into visuals that stand out.
Key Responsibilities
- Own email creative : Design newsletters, product launch emails and campaign headers that go out to dealers, OEMs and partners.
- Run the LinkedIn feed visuals: Posters, carousels, event promos and hiring posts that make people stop scrolling.
- Create with AI:
Use tools like Adobe Firefly, Midjourney or ChatGPT image generation to concept, generate and polish poster visuals — then finish them by hand so they look premium, not "AI-made."
- Move fast on requests: Turn a quick brief into a finished asset, often within a day.
- Keep it on brand. Every piece follows RockED's brand guidelines, even when you're experimenting.
- Add motion when it helps: Simple animations, GIFs and short video edits for social and email.
What skills do you need?
- A portfolio showcasing social media creatives, email designs, or marketing campaigns. Personal projects are also welcome.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Familiarity with Figma or Canva is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with AI image generation tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL·E, or Stable Diffusion.
- Prompting skills: you can write and refine prompts to get the exact style, lighting and composition you want.
- Understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy across email and social media formats.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and improve design output.
- Ability to manage creative requests and work within deadlines.
- Willingness to collaborate with the US-based team, including working with some time-zone overlap.
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred. Portfolio quality and practical skills will be given greater importance.
Good to Have?
- Familiarity with AI video or motion tools such as Runway and Firefly Video.
- Basic knowledge of After Effects or Premiere Pro.
- Exposure to designing HTML email templates or working with HubSpot.
- Awareness of current design trends across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Behance.
