Role Description The Investment Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolhapur.

The Investment

Associate will support sourcing and evaluating early-stage and growth-stage startup opportunities in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, including screening pitches and conducting initial assessments. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing financial and market analysis, building financial models, assisting in due diligence, and preparing investment memos and presentations for internal review and investor discussions.



The role involves maintaining relationships with startup founders and investors, tracking portfolio performance, and monitoring industry trends to inform investment decisions.

The Investment

Associate will collaborate closely with senior team members to execute deals, coordinate documentation, and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Finance and Investments, with the ability to understand business models and capital-raising structures.
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling and related quantitative analysis to evaluate startup performance and projections.
- Robust Analytical Skills, including comfort with data interpretation, market research, and comparative analysis.
- Experience or training in Due Diligence processes, such as reviewing financials, legal documents, and operational risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and investor-facing materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and interact professionally with founders and investors.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn about early-stage and regional startup ecosystems.
