Role Description The Interior Designer role at Sa Studio is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Interior

Designer will be responsible for developing retail interior concepts, preparing mood boards, and creating detailed layouts and 3D visualizations. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with architects and project managers, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and overseeing the implementation of design elements to ensure quality and consistency. The role also involves selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E;, conducting site visits, and ensuring designs align with client requirements, budget, and timelines.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional and visually compelling retail environments.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture and an understanding of building codes and regulations relevant to interior projects.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation for execution and coordination.
- Candidates should possess experience in FF&E; selection, including finishes, fixtures, and equipment that support the design concept and brand identity.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
