Role Description The Import Export Specialist role at Nalinee Kaku is a full time, on-site position located in Alibag. The specialist will manage end-to-end import and export activities, including documentation, compliance checks, and coordination with customs, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities. Daily responsibilities include preparing shipping documents, reviewing trade regulations, monitoring shipment status, and resolving any logistics or customs-related issues.

The role also involves maintaining accurate records, optimizing international trade processes, and collaborating with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.



The specialist will contribute to expanding Nalinee Kaku’s presence in international markets while upholding quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of import, export, and import-export operations, with practical experience managing cross-border shipments.
- Understanding of customs brokerage processes, including documentation, tariff classifications, and interaction with customs agencies.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, trade compliance, Incoterms, and basic foreign trade policies.
- Experience in logistics coordination, shipping documentation, and working with freight forwarders and transport partners.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and ERP or inventory management systems; comfort with digital documentation and reporting.
- Relevant diploma or degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in food, FMCG, or export-oriented manufacturing is an advantage.
