JOB SUMMARY AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Legal Associate will be a part of the legal function at our Pune GBS Hub and shall provide business-focused legal support to the global Legal function and wider business.

You will be responsible for: Contracting • Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and related documents, using TMICC templates where appropriate and negotiating third-party paper to protect TMICC’s legal and commercial interests.

- Ensure that contracts include the appropriate data privacy, information security, responsible partnering, regulatory, artificial intelligence and other risk-specific schedules, where applicable.
- Work closely with Legal Business Partners and subject matter experts across Privacy, Information Security,



Procurement and other relevant functions to apply current templates, clauses, playbooks and legal positions. Make recommendations to enhance the end user experience on the CLM tool, process reengineering to drive efficiency and solution driven.
- To manage contracts in line with agreed playbooks, service levels and escalation procedures, exercising sound judgment and escalating non-standard matters to Legal Business Partners. Core Legal • Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Support business and legal teams in relation to monitoring emerging regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal records and files.
- Track key actions, deadlines, decisions and supporting documentation for legal matters.
- Supporting the management and administration of contracts.
- Simplification and innovation; supporting innovation and use of technology to simplify and improve the provision of legal services.
- General administrative and office support as needed. Governance & Compliance • Support the operation of governance schedules and processes.
- Understand changes to standard clauses, and highlight deviations and risks, if outside of standard clauses.
- Ensure the organisation's internal contract document templates are accurate and up to date.
- Identify opportunities to improve current contract processes and devise plans to implement these changes.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, data privacy and confidentiality standards.

Stakeholder

Management • Support the development and management of stakeholder relationships within The Magnum Ice Cream Company and with key third parties, including within Legal, Procurement, Finance, Digital Marketing, HR, local Data Protection Officers and other businesses. Key Interfaces • Legal (including external legal counsel) • Procurement • Privacy, Cybersecurity and Infosec Relevant Experience • Recognised professional qualification in Law (LLB).
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in commercial contracting, legal operations, procurement legal support or a related legal advisory role.
- Experience working within a large complex business environment requiring analysis of data and making balanced risk decisions.
- Strong drafting, contract negotiation skills across commercial, procurement and supplier agreements.
- Experience delivering contracting work across multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of contract lifecycle management (CLM), legal technology and AI tools.
- Excellent communication and strong stakeholder management.
- Ability to work with colleagues across multiple time zones and countries.
- Willingness and drive for process excellence. Preferable • Experience within a consumer goods or retail environment.
